What worked

Opening with a concrete risk instead of a feature list: "Your agent ran cat .env? That output is still on disk, in plaintext." Then one command to try it, uvx ranwhat check, with no signup, and a short video of the real output.

What I'd change

Have paid checkout live before posting. The post went up on 4 Oct, but Plus couldn't be bought until the 5th, so the first day of attention had nothing to buy. I'd also mention Plus in the post itself. It sold the free CLI, and the revenue comes from the paid feed.

How this is calculated: new revenue and visitors in the 30 days after launch day, compared against the 30 days before it, pulled from Stripe and analytics with read-only access. It is a before-and-after view, not perfect attribution. Sample data shown.
