How to find companies that already serve your customers
A two-minute way to find peers to learn from and partners to grow with, using Matchmaker.

One of the fastest ways to learn is to study companies that sell to the same people you do. They've already figured out where those customers spend time, what they'll pay for, and which messages land.
Here's how to find them on Afterlaunch in about two minutes.
1. Start with two questions
Open Matchmaker and answer:
- Who are your customers? The group that pays you, like developers, clinicians or small businesses.
- What problem do you solve? The main job your product does.
You don't need an account. If you want sharper results, you can also set your sector, business model and stage.
2. Read the two kinds of matches
Matchmaker splits results into two groups:
- Similar businesses: same customers, same problem. Study how they position, price and grow.
- Potential partners: same customers, different problem. These are candidates for integrations, co-marketing and referrals.
Each match explains why it showed up, so you can judge whether it's really relevant.
3. Go one level deeper
Open a company profile to see its customers, pricing, funding and any disclosed numbers, each with a source. Many profiles also include a growth story: what the company did, the reported outcome, and a small experiment you could try.
4. Save what's useful
Create a free founder profile to save companies and experiments in your workspace. You can also opt in to introductions with other participating founders. Contact details are shared only when both sides accept.
Ready? Find companies like yours.
