Why we built Afterlaunch
You shouldn't have to move to San Francisco to learn from founders a few steps ahead of you.

In startup hubs, a lot of the most useful knowledge travels by accident. You overhear how someone priced their first plan. A friend tells you which launch channel actually brought customers. Someone a year ahead of you explains what they would do differently.
Most founders don't have that room. Afterlaunch is our attempt to put it online, with sources attached, so you can learn from what other companies really did wherever you're building.
What you can do today
- Research real companies. The company library covers customers, pricing, funding and disclosed numbers. Every figure links to where it came from, and historical numbers are labeled as historical.
- Find companies like yours. Tell Matchmaker who you sell to and what you solve. It shows similar businesses to learn from and potential partners serving the same customers.
- Turn research into experiments. Company profiles include documented growth stories and small experiments you could run yourself. Browse them in growth ideas.
- Measure your launch. Connect read-only Stripe and analytics, tag your launch, and choose which numbers to share in a launch receipt.
What this blog is for
Every week we'll share something useful from the library: a company story, an idea worth testing, or what we're learning across launches. We'll keep it short, and we'll always link to the source.
A company's growth doesn't prove which tactic caused it. We share ideas to test, not promises.
If that sounds useful, subscribe below and we'll send each post to your inbox.
